Terms & Conditions
Effective 20 October 2026
These terms are between you and Praveen Rana, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Finease you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
What the app is
Finease is a personal finance tracker: expense planning, a Vault for assets, loans and insurance, investment tracking, and split expenses with people you invite. It records and organises information; it does not hold your money, move money between accounts, or lend.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into a contract in India. Please give accurate account details and keep them up to date.
Your account and security
You sign in with Google, or with your email or mobile number and your password, and you protect the app with a PIN. Keep your password, PIN and phone to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account, and anyone who holds your unlocked phone and knows your PIN can see your data. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
Your information
The figures in the app are only as accurate as what you enter or import. We do not verify your balances, loan terms or investment values. SMS suggestions are automated and can be wrong, so review them before approving.
Not financial advice
Insights, budgets, summaries and projections are for information only. They are not investment, tax, insurance or legal advice, and Finease is not a registered investment adviser. Decide with a qualified professional where it matters.
Split & Shared
When you split an expense or join a group, the people involved can see the amounts, names and balances tied to it. Balances are a record of what you and your friends agree is owed; settling up happens between you outside the app, and we are not a party to any payment. Only add people you know.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, no interference with the service or its security, no harassment of other users, and no automated scraping.
Third-party services
The app relies on providers such as Google, Render, Supabase, Resend and Sentry, and on your phone and network. We are not responsible for their outages or for charges your mobile operator makes.
Availability and changes to the app
We work to keep the app available and accurate but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove features, and we will tell you in the app about changes that matter.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Finease is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by inaccurate data, a lost or unlocked phone, third-party outages, or decisions you make using the app. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile › Delete account, or as described on the delete-account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others or the service at risk, and will tell you why where we can.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms or the Privacy Policy we will update the date above and ask you to review and accept the new version in the app before you continue.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to approach a consumer forum or court where you live.
